Last year I have the privilege of testing out a fabulous beauty clinic in Royal Tunbridge Wells, No6. Having lived in the town for over ten years, I’ve tried my fair share of beauty salons, spas and clinics and of course I have a few firm favourites.

No6 Shop Tunbridge Wells
This year, No6 have branched out and launched their own beauty store found at 77a St John’s Road, Tunbridge Wells, just on the main road opposite the clinic. The No6 shop is the place to book any treatments at No6 Clinic and is also the destination in town, if you are looking to stock up on your skin care products.
For me, it was the chance to start a new regime, with a makeup trial with Jane Iredale products but you can also pamper your hands with a manicure or OPI gel nails, accurately have your foundation colour matched or makeup applied for a special occasion. The one stop beauty shop and it is beautifully designed.
As well as the Jane Iredale makeup range the staff offer advice on the advanced skincare treatments offered at the Clinic and are specialists in the advanced clinic only product ranges, Environ, DermaQuest and The Advanced Nutrition Programme.
Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup
No6 has introduced Jane Iredale, a range of 100% natural mineral, paraben and cruelty free make up. I was eager to learn more, have a try of the products and come away with the answer to my foundation woes.. an awesome BB cream.
I struggle with finding a good foundation that works for my skin and a BB Cream that doesn’t leave me looking tangoed. I also wanted a brush to apply the product, knowing that my years of applying by hand weren’t helping me in achieving the flawless look. Job done with the Glow Time™ Full Coverage Mineral BB Cream, which also has an SPF of 25 in it to protect the skin and Foundation Brush.
I fell in love with the double ended Lip Fixation® in Fascination. Two products in one a deep pink lip stain and a lip gloss with a touch of sparkle to change the look if I want to. I’m now obsessed. Even my colleagues have noticed I now wear lip colour every day of the week.
I have also treated myself to a Jelly Jar™ Gel Eyeliner. But I must admit I need some practice with it. With the right brush, an angle liner you can use the gel eyeliner to get a precise line or a perfect smudge. An inky gel that is smooth to apply and looks less harsh than using a pencil. I loved how it looked but so far have failed to emulate it.

I am hooked, I love wearing Jane Iredale makeup now; the mineral base keeps working for your skin rather than against it and I think the flawless look it gives is brilliant.
