Having recently had my man, down on one knee in front of me, in the heart of Paris proposing, naturally Paris holds a special place in my heart. As well as the romanticism of the city the fashion and style of the French women just exudes glamour for me.
French Style | L’amour Blouse | La Redoute Brand Ambassador
As a Brand Ambassador for French style haven La Redoute I get the fun job of picking pieces to showcase each month and as the seasons go on, I realise that the certain “je ne sais quoi” from French fashion really is my style.
This month I’m all about transitional style for Autumn, particularly when it comes to what to wear to the office. For years I’ve avoided the smart shirt option for the office with the concern of the sideways peep of the bra with ill-fitting fronts of shirts. But a blouse which does up a the back is a winner and I just adore this sheer blouse with hear print detail from La Redoute. It also has lovely faux leather detailing around the neckline and the cuffs to add a touch of chic about it.
I’ve teamed it here with blue leopard print cropped bistro trousers from Boden (you know I love a printed trouser!) and very cute burgundy leopard print pumps from La Redoute. Recently I gave away a pair of the sparkly shimmer silver pumps from the same design but these are just über fabulous and there is something a little regal about them.
