As the resident fashion blogger at Optical Express magazine I’ve had the luck of the draw for you lovely readers this week. Whilst I get to test out the new Givenchy sunglasses 873’s, they have offered one lucky reader the chance to win a Givenchy scarf worth £250!

I also got to style it and I must admit that I love scarves, but I’m not the best at styling them. So I wanted to show you a few casual looks and a smart look with the same vibrantly gorgeous Givenchy 100% Italian Silk Scarf.
Since it’s such a colourful orange print I thought it would be great to show it off with a casual black top from French Connection and black zipped jeans from Mint Velvet.
The first look is an open front wrap, simply wrapped around the neck and the fold opened at the front to show off the fabulous design on the silk.
The second casual look creates a cape style over the shoulder. Very warming in this transitional phase into Autumn. A simple knot on the front holding it in place and a splash of colour to an outfit.
For a smart look for the office I contrasted the orange of the silk scarf with a blue blazer from Zara, out in the sunshine with the Givenchy 873 sunglasses that are new this season, this is a great end of summer look. With the scarf I took a traditional French Style knot having folded the scarf into half to create a triangle then rolled it so that the ends are thinner and great a sleek look. Teamed with a John Lewis Kin grey skirt so the focus is on the scarf and it completes the look.
The Givenchy sunglasses are a great saver when it comes to that occasional Autumn sunlight that catches you in the morning, perfect for slipping in your handbag and a beautiful design in a dark red, a little bit different for me but a new firm favourite
