French Style Interiors

Beauty

This month for my La Redoute Brand Ambassador post, I’m stepping into the world of interiors for a little French Style Made Easy for the home. It’s rather apt, as I write this our bathroom is being ripped out, completely redesigned and one day will look fabulous.

After Easter work will commence on stripping all the very fetching 1980’s wallpaper from our cottage and a much more delightful Farrow & Ball painting marathon will commence. So I am all about the interiors at the moment. Perfect timing for a touch of Spring in the home with La Redoute.

French Style Interiors

My picks this month are the Dorsa heart, the Elda glass cloche and the Roots Shelf. Here you can see how I am styling them, all apart from the Roots Shelf. That will be part of the grand unveil of the new bathroom, once it’s finished. Check that out my instagram to see that in a few weeks time.

The Dorsa Heart

This is just so sweet. We actually saw similar small ones at our wedding venue and I will definitely be stocking up on a few of these for our French vintage themed wedding styling. Perhaps tuck a little lavender through the woven wood, hang them from the chairs at the edge of the aisle?

In an aged effect grey interwoven willow wood this charming heart will spread messages of love around your home! You can move it from room to room as you freshen up your look. I like to hang them on the back of doors and from picture hooks.

The Elda Glass Cloche

Cloches are the latest “in thing” in the interiors world. No longer just for serving food under or for seeing in a museum with a rare specimen under. I love how they can add a statement to your room. Whether it’s a candle, an objet d’art, even a cupcake or your jewellery.

It can be a great way to showcase your favourite pieces in your sitting room, dining room or bedroom. Turn your favourite things into works of art!

I love these new additions to my home. Now I just have to wait for it to all be fabulously decorated and I can show off my key pieces.

What’s the one piece you are coveting for your home right now?
