French style by the sea

Fashion

This is my final piece to review as the La Redoute Brand Ambassador for 2022/15. Along side the fabulous Catherine from Not Dressed As Lamb, I have had the pleasure of working out my French Style Made Easy with La Redoute over the past year.

La Redoute have been a fashion destination that I have delved into since I was a teenager. You can read my piece that won me this ambassador role here, and it explains why I love the french style haven.

French style by the sea

For my final outfit; I styled a little French style by the sea, during our recent sojourn to Salcombe in Devon. A beautiful estuary town that has a relaxing charm to it. A stylish spot that we explored over a few days and where I styled out this pink Soft Grey short sleeved tunic top with printed shoulders*.

This is a lovely top, that I don’t think I will brave with just bare legs as a dress but it’s fab for styling over cropped denim shorts, leggings (if they’re your kind of thing, personally they’re not my bag) or like me, skinny jeans.

I wore them with my favourite Mint Velvet black skinny jeans and of course finished off with my La Redoute cross body bag*, also worn here. This is my go-to bag at the moment. A perfect size and the colour is fabulous for summer.

The top has a great scallop hem but the side split finished a little too low which mean it bunched up over my jeans at the hips. Had I been wearing leggings or a pencil skirt with no detail at my hips, then it might have sat better.

The tunic top has a zip fastening at the back which was nice, and I love the print just over the shoulder so it is there but not too over the top. A very comfortable top for splashing around French style by the sea, a light cotton so perfect for a summers day.

I will be doing a post on my favourite pieces from La Redoute in the last year and the three pieces that I just can’t live without but in the meantime:
