Festive Knits from Fat Face

Beauty

A festive knit is for life, not just for Christmas! Far to often people buy festive knitwear that is of the novelty kind, just to wear to the Christmas party, on Christmas Day or for a laugh with friends (I’m thinking my best friend’s annual Christmas Jumper Party). But we shouldn’t just restrict ourselves to novelty or to one wear per annum.

Festive Knits from Fat Face

Fat Face are paving the way for the festive knit to be for the entire autumn/winter season and they have a great selection of womenswear and menswear available that are fashionable and versatile. Steven (the fiancé) and I have been gifted some lovely festive knits from Fat Face and although the Christmas tree is not up yet, we have been sporting our knitwear this weekend as the windspeed crept up and the rain set in.

I’m sporting the Fairisle Yoke Sweater (£45) from Fat Face, which is also available in plum and indigo, but I think the grey is more versatile and it fits like a glove, well a glove that allows room for a Sunday roast!

Steven is modelling the Windham Placement Crew Jumper (£45) from Fat Face in Woodland red, it is also available in Dark Ink. I would say that the neck is a little tight on this and the bottom is rather generous so it might be tough getting the sizing right. It is also a little Mark Darcy circa Bridge Jones era on Steven…. maybe blue would have been a better choice in retrospect.

I’m looking forward to wearing my sweater post Christmas, at our cottage in Monmouthshire where we are spending the pre New Year break. We’ll get cosy by the fire, have a TV and social media ban, catch up with our book reading and plan 2024. I know I’ll be super snug in this gorgeous jumper.

I also think that since the Fat Face knitwear collection is not too OTT Christmas, some don’t even have a reindeer in sight, so they could also be worn on the slopes. Well maybe not over your Salopettes but for a little bit of après-ski in the local bar for sure. They’re super snug, very cosy and a great fit plus super quality wool and mohair mix.

The his and hers knitwear has been gifted by Fat Face but all words and comment are my own.
