Monochrome is a key trend for Autumn/Winter 14. It just seems to always work. It’s especially great for a smart look for the office and is great when layered during the colder seasons.
ALLSAINTS | AW14
The British fashion powerhouse that is ALLSAINTS showed their Autumn/Winter14 womenswear collection at New York Fashion Week. It is a collection inspired by the “ever-evolving landscape” around their London atelier. Ripped and torn posters on the streets of London are reflected in their printed satin pieces.
Have you ever noticed there is always the remnants of the past hidden under those posters, well ALLSAINTS reflect that with elements of their garments that are physically pulled away to reveal partial or complete views of the layers that lie beneath.
Maybe a bit of a dark story for AW14 but ALLSAINTS have got this layering concept just right. Known for their great use of texture to give depth to their outfits, I am loving this collection.
My key piece from their latest new arrivals is the Jaida Coat. Totally sumptuous in Italian textured wool, laid back glamour that will see me through to Spring.
