Valentines Day Weddings

For the true romantics out there, getting married on Valentines Day couldn’t be more perfect. For this week’s wedding inspiration piece from The Bride, a fabulous bridal boutique based in St Albans, we have a little inspiration to help you pull off a Valentine’s Day wedding with style and sophistication.

For a wedding as romantic as can be, you should look and feel like a true princess. Here at The Bride, this Misty gown by Stephanie Allin is one of our favourites. We love the A-line shape, sweetheart neckline and intricate lace overlay.

Pinks and reds are the obvious colour palette to go for, but for something a little more unique try incorporating a pretty mint green too. With Valentines Day weddings theres a thin-line between elegance and cheesiness! A mixture of soft pastel hues will help ensure your wedding is stylish and graceful.

For a wedding favour that is both chic and delicious, macaroons are a great choice. Your guests will love them. They come in an array of colours and flavours and can really add a touch of “je ne sais quoi” to your wedding theme.

Flower petals will add a true aura of romance to your special day. Scatter the aisle with them, sprinkle them over tables, or use them as confetti. We simply love this photo taken for St. Albans Fashion Week’s Luxury Wedding Show last October.

It’s the little finishing touches that make a wedding seem like they truly belong in a fairytale. We adore this idea of encasing roses in homemade ice cubes. Simple yet exquisite!
