For AW15 renowned fashion brand Kaleidoscope are launching their ‘it’s all in the detail’ advertising campaign across print media and national TV. This year I spent a few months as a Blogger Expert for Kaleidoscope so I have had the privilege to test out a lot of their products and I can tell you that it is all in the detail!
Kaleidoscope | It’s all in the detail
They have some great pieces that suit a wide age range and also work across the size base. The new campaign highlights that it is ‘all in the detail’ with regard to what makes and perfects an outfit which has always been one of Kaleidoscope’s key brand values.
I got to choose and outfit from their Autumn/Winter 15 collection that features bright and bold coats to standout embellished dresses. My aim, to style in three ways, taking note of the important detail in the pieces I chose and the opportunity those pieces give to create a range of outfits from a few pieces. So combining with my own (extensive) wardrobe I have brought together three looks with one animal print wrap dress, that is a gorgeous light salmon pink background and gold tassel shimmer clutch bag, that is now going to be my night out back of choice! Both are only £35!
Outfit one showcases the perfect “night out” outfit. I wore this to Fashion International showcase at London Fashion Week. Teaming the animal print wrap dress with black tights, purple ankle boots from Clarks and necklace from Phase Eight and the clutch bag. I can fit so many things in to this bag, it has a few inside pockets and also has a chain so it can be a shoulder bag if you so wish. I also threw on a cropped black leather jacket from Glassons (NZ) for later on in the evening.
Animal Print Wrap Dress £35 from Kaleidoscope
The dress is so comfortable. A lightweight polyester and elastane mix that sits in all the right places thanks to the drape at the front. Super flattering, I feel fabulous in it and I had a lot of compliments.
Outfit two is my “wedding guest” outfit. Teaming the dress with bright pink court shoes from Berskha and a white blazer from Topshop. As it’s a longsleeved dress its perfect for the wedding reception and is great for dancing in. It’s easy to team this dress with a range of colours and different jackets or blazers.
For outfit three I would pop a sweater on over the dress and wear it to work so the leopard print is seen as a skirt. Sadly all my sweaters and jumpers had the wrong neckline as this dress does sit quite high on the neck, so I can’t show this look but I would recommend it. Especially as we head into Autumn you can layer up with a jumper on top for a little added warmth, I’d go for a charcoal grey or black.
So instead I am rocking the gold tassel bag for London Fashion Week again. This time with a laid back look for the sunday shows. Teaming it with Mint Velvet skinny jeans, Lips slip ons from Andrea Moore, a New Zealand designer. The t-shirt is from Storm, one of my favourite NZ stores and the blazer is from La Redoute. A true mix of the British and International high street.
The detail of this bag is just awesome. I love the metallic tone to it and the tassels. It’s quite unique, an envelope style clutch that is hugely roomy inside. I even managed to fit my ipad in for the train journey up to London.
