It’s December and I’ve now been a La Redoute Brand Ambassador for five months now. It’s been so much fun browsing their collections, putting outfits together and exploring how they work their motto “French style made easy”. I’ve been to the filming of the beautiful Language of Love viral video and I’ve had a lot of compliments for my outfit selections.
French Style | Feather Print Dress
In my final piece for 2022 for La Redoute, I’m styling a piece that is just so comfortable and so trans-seasonal, that you might have to peel it off me by the time we get to Spring. I should have got one in each print, it’s the long sleeved feather print dress.*
I have the black and white print, but it is also available in burgundy and black. It is very pretty, very lightweight and super comfortable. I can see myself wearing this in the summer with a pair of wedges, my hair up high and a cocktail in my hand. But for December I teamed it with thick black tights, my trusty purple suede and faux pony hair shoe boots from Clarks * and my long black coat from Glassons (the New Zealand equivalent of Topshop).
A word of warning, it is 100% viscose so creases quite easily. But the print affords you a little crease without it being too noticeable. The skirt has a drawstring waist with rope tasselled belt. Very soft, floaty and feminine.
I love a print and I can see myself teaming it with my La Redoute burgundy leopard print scarf in the winter. Layering up prints is a great way to add texture to your outfits but also to bring some brightness to your day. For the photoshoot my makeup was using fabulous new eye products from Ariane Poole. I interviewed her recently here and will be reviewing the products soon.
Check out my year so far as one of the La Redoute brand ambassadors here. Catherine at Not Dressed As Lamb is my co-ambassador and she has a great sense of style.
