London Fashion Week | Lavazza

London Fashion Week is a manic time. Based at Somerset House but with shows also held across the city, the week involves a lot of dashing around! The schedule starts at 9am and often finishes late into the night with after show parties. There’s the photography, the tweeting, the blogging, the writing, the submitting articles, the fashion networking. How do the fashion elite do it? Well my time is mostly fuelled by coffee and at London Fashion Week there is one place I would go to get it.

Lavazza have been the coffee sponsors for the past 12 years at London Fashion Week and are also heavily involved in Vodafone London Fashion Weekend. Italy’s favourite coffee brand make sure that the fashion-fuelled fortnight in February is bright, alert and tasty by serving more than 30,000 cups of coffee! Normally I start the day with an authentic Italian espresso, mid-morning it’s usually a skinny cappuccino and there might be another espresso mid afternoon before my palette switches to champagne.

This season the Lavazza Winter Café was a chic outdoor space in the Somerset House Courtyard. The perfect place to grab your caffeine for the day and people watch as the darlings of the fashion industry wander by. This season the most on-trend coffee to drink was the signature #LFW Cappuccino, and the Lavazza Winter Café is a must-visit for fashionable coffee fans who need to re-fuel.

Lavazza has London Fashion Week covered from head to toe with barista-style touch points backstage, in the press lounge, at the Canon Photography Centre and in the MAC studio. It is just perfect for me, a massive coffee lover.

For those who attended Vodafone London Fashion Weekend also got to enter the world of Lavazza by testing out and sampling the range of stylish A Modo Mio coffee machines. Oh my, I could have Lavazza coffee in my own home? Uh-oh this could be my new addiction!

So now you know how we manage to survive London Fashion Week. Alongside other essentials such as bottled water, champagne (in moderation of course), flat shoes when the feet can’t take heels anymore and of course the Toni & Guy Blow Out Bar.
