What to wear on a trip to Salcombe

As we head into the summer I’ve had a rethink about my weekly lust feature. Don’t worry, I am still lusting after covetable pieces of fashion each week. But I thought I would refresh it a little as it has been going on and off since September 29th 2021!

So welcome to my new “What to wear…” feature. To roll it out in a fabulously summery way, I am thinking about what to wear on a trip to Salcombe. Next week, myself and Mr are heading down to Devon. Salcombe is around four and a half hours from our home in East Sussex. Located in the most southerly part of Devon surrounded by picturesque villages and stunning beaches. We are going to relax in beautiful surroundings; often dubbed the “Chelsea by the sea” and also visit Greenways, Agatha Christie’s former holiday home.

I need to make sure I have a suitable wardrobe. So as well as following my own advice when it comes to packing a holiday capsule wardrobe, I wanted to pick out a new outfit that would be perfect for our little sojourn to the sea.

I love this outfit selection from Olive. Another fashion brand I found thanks to the Facebook advertisements. I love their relaxed attitude to fashion and the softness of textures, clean lines and simple pieces in their collection. What to wear on a trip to Salcombe, this little outfit combination

Cotton dungaree dress in Charcoal

Stripe short sleeve tee in black stripe

Casual and fun. A nod the nautical trend and you know I love a Breton stripe. I’d wear this with plimsolls or canvas espadrilles in a pastel colour.

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on what Olive has to offer from now on.

Olive is a premium ladieswear garments and accessories, available from their flagship boutique in Cheltenham, England. Whilst also stocking leading designerwear nationwide online. Check out their pinterest, instagram, twitter and facebook for more fashion inspiration.
