House of Fraser & Fiorelli Exclusive

Beauty Fashion

This week I am styling the exclusive to House of Fraser, from Fiorelli – the Forever Together tapestry print tote bag. This week has been a hectic one featuring a range of events and I’ve been teaming the tote bag with my outfits and my lifestyle.

Day 3 Spa Time

Well day three came at the weekend. As I have a bit of a manic working life as an Operations Director by day to three companies and a fashion magazine Editor by night, I do like a bit of down time every now and again. So Saturday meant the afternoon at Nirvana Spa in Berkshire and a few hours of absolute bliss.

I see a theme with this bag. As I’m working on outfits to style with it, I really have picked out a lot of pink. Normally I work on my outfit and grab my current favourite bag to go with it – but this week it’s very much the other way around!

For a relaxed saturday I sported Mint Velvet Black Biker jeans, Esprit wedge high tops, a pink long sleeved tee from Esprit too and black leather jacket from Glassons (New Zealand).

The bag was a perfect size to take to the spa – I needed to take a lot of essentials for after the spa but also my book and our spa outfits! Plus the bag is splash proof so I knew it would be great for using throughout the day.

Day 4 Boutique Hotel and Boden Shopping

After our fabulously relaxing spa afternoon Mr whisked me away to the amazing Stoke Place in Buckinghamshire for a romantic evening. Champagne on arrival, the Queen Anne suite, a game of petanque in the Autumn twilight and a fantastic six course meal. The following morning we got up and took a turn around the grounds.

I spotted a fabulous photo opportunity with the hotel bicycles and we had a lovely autumnal walk around the lake and the Stoke Place hotel grounds before heading to the Boden shop in London for a Bodenites meet up and a jolly good browse (and purchase) of their Autumn/Winter range.

For a leisurely sunday I teamed the Tapestry Print tote with my Mint Velvet black biker jeans and high tops again along with a Paris tee from Esprit and the beautiful laser cut London scarf from Rew Clothing.

Contents:

  • 2 x iphones
  • Book
  • Brita water filter bottle
  • purse
  • Canon 550D Camera
  • (at the end of the day a few Boden purchases)

The tote was perfect for a shopping trip, plus I managed to fit in my rather large camera in too for our country walk. The bag really is fantastic and roomy without being big and cumbersome when you are wearing it.

I really must work on wearing less pink with it and testing it out with the rest of my wardrobe. It’s a fabulous print for Autumn/Winter, something very different to what I have seen in collections across the high street and rather exciting that it is exclusive to House of Fraser this season from Fiorelli – keep a look out in store and online!
